Corallium Cafe

After gradually recover from my sickness, this is my first station of food hunting in Miaw Miaw Land. I went to this Corallium Cafe near Jalan Wayang last weekend. Click here for the location map.

Corallium Cafe Main Entrance

As denoted in its big name CORALlium, coral is the main display in this cafe. I can see quite a number of preserve coral under the stair case, inside an aquarium and even on their uniquely design table. Beside, they also use up a lot of sea shells to decorate their cafe.

The interior design of Corallium looks stylish and bluish inside. It's quite cosy and relax to spend our evening there.

The Menu

From the menu, it seems that Corallium serves various type of western food, there are beef steak, chicken chop, chicken cordon bleu, fish and chip, .etc. They also have a few selection of snack food, sandwiches, pasta and dessert. And, surprisingly they have a long list of drink to choose, mocha, latte, capucino, hot chocolate, hot tea, smoothie, fruit juice, mocktail, .etc. o.O

Overall, I would say their service is fairly good and the waitress is quite friendly as well. We didn't wait very long for the food to be served except the chocolate fondue. They took quite a while to prepare it.

Cheese Sandwich (RM5.90)

Chocolate fondue is our main reason of visiting Corallium. To the best of my knowledge when I was writing this post, no other place in Miaw Miaw Land serve this type of fondue yet. We order a combo set for ourself which consist of assorted fruit, biscuit, mashmellow, ice cream and the most important ingredient – Chocolate. The chocolate was melt and heat in a clay pot with a candle light.

Each of us was given a set of tools to lift and dip the food into the melt chocolate. It's very easy to lift the fruit and mashmellow (for biscuit, use hand laa). However, it's a bit tricky to lift the ice cream and dip into the melt chocolate.

O.O It's heavenly! The chocolate just taste like the chocolate dip from Mcdonald, gulp...

Biscuit dip

Personally, I like the ice cream dip, mashmellow dip and biscuit dip better, compare to the fruit dip, may be because the fruit is not chilled enough. In addition, I think it's also good for them to provide us some matches to light the candle, so that we can control the heat and the chocolate is not burnt.
